What we collect
We collect only information you provide voluntarily through our contact forms, quote requests, pre-need arrangement documents, and phone calls: name, phone, email, ZIP, and any details you share about your situation or the loved one you are arranging services for. We also collect standard web analytics (pages visited, approximate location, browser) via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, in aggregate and anonymized form.
How we use it
We use what you provide to respond to your inquiry, provide funeral-home services, issue quotes, fulfill pre-need contracts, and comply with Texas and federal legal requirements (including Texas Health & Safety Code Chapter 716 and the FTC Funeral Rule). We do not sell or rent your information.
How we share it
We share personal information only with third parties necessary to provide the service you requested: the Texas Department of State Health Services (vital records), the attending physician or Medical Examiner (death certificate), cemeteries, clergy, crematories, insurance carriers, and the VA (for veteran benefits). We may also disclose information when required by subpoena, court order, or law.
How we protect it
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and access controls on our internal systems. Our document retention schedule complies with Texas funeral-service and tax record requirements.
Your rights under Texas law
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives Texas residents the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold. Send requests to Carlos@dallasfuneralhome.services. We respond within 45 days.
Cookies & tracking
We use first-party cookies for site functionality and anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. We do not use cross-site advertising or behavioral targeting.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law changes. The "effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
