Cremation & Asthi Directory

Cremation & asthi resting in North Texas.

Where Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist families cremate, store asthi, and scatter in the DFW metroplex — or plan Ganges repatriation. Crematories, columbaria, local scattering locations, and partner temples.

This directory covers the crematories, viewing rooms, and post-cremation options (asthi storage, scattering locations, columbaria) we coordinate with for Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist families across North Texas.

Where families store or scatter asthi (cremated remains)

Local scattering locations in North Texas

Columbaria for asthi storage

If the family plans an eventual trip to India but wants a local resting place in the interim, or permanent storage in a sacred place, these options serve South Asian families:

Repatriation to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, or Nepal

Most Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist families plan a trip to scatter asthi in a sacred river in the country of origin — most commonly the Ganges at Varanasi, Haridwar, or Prayagraj (Sangam); for Sikh families, Kiratpur Sahib in Punjab. We provide:

Families occasionally wait a year or more before making the trip. The urn remains secure and undisturbed in our facility at no charge for the duration.

Burial cemeteries for South Asian families who prefer burial

While cremation is the tradition, some South Asian families choose burial — particularly Christians of South Asian origin, Muslim families of South Asian origin (see our Muslim cemeteries directory), and families where the deceased specifically requested burial.

Commercial cemeteries serving these families include Restland Memorial Park, Ridgeview Memorial Park (Plano), Rest Haven Memorial Park, and Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery for eligible veterans.

Temples and gurdwaras where ceremonies take place

See our South Asian funeral services page for the full list of partner temples. Primary centers for pre-cremation ceremonies:

Coordination included

We handle all crematory logistics, temple coordination, urn provision, scattering logistics (including boat charter referrals for lake scattering), and international documentation at no additional charge beyond the published service fee. Pandit, priest, and monk honoraria are paid directly by the family.
